Elroy's Week in Review (Nov 22-28)

November 28, 2009 by DJ Elroy

Happy Thanksgiving! I’ve got so much to be thankful for, but for the sake of brevity I’ll narrow it down to a few things everyone here on the site should take a moment to remember this holiday season: the music and the people that make it happen. That means the DJs, the producers, the promoters, the clubs and of course the fans! Have fun, be safe, dance hard ~

Twenty42 Launch Party? Success!

Mixes this week include a great promo mix from DJ Troika, a housey masterpiece by Harold Heath, a banging electro-fidget mix from Foamo, a smooth housey OMcast by Andre Lodemann, and an fun Flashback Friday live set with Bad Boy Bill on B96

Also have a new Digital Dance log up about last weeks Twenty42 Launch Party @ The Church (Denver)
Added this weekend: A few new selections on the Digital Dance Doppler ~

New articles: Technics is Dead, 20 tracks every broken-beat fan should know, some info on the iMeem purchase by Myspace, and finally Is MySpace Music Charts the new Bilboard?

Vids up this week include a hands-on with the new Denon X1700, Deadmau5 on LoopTV (pt1), the official music video of Groove Armada’s I Won’t Kneel, and Satori-C’s Nocturnal ~

Some new release info: Paolo Mojo: The Remix Project 1 (and a few free DLs from Paolo’s Soundcloud page) and a new compilation mix CD for sale — Some Of These Were Hooj Volume 4, and Robytek: Tribute To E2-E4 ~

Don’t forget the Yelo remix contest ~

Some new charts this week by Tony Arzadon and selections from the MyPromoPool crew ~

No Top 5 this week as I’ve been too busy with the holidays and a new bootleg mix project to really take time and sit down to listen to new music… But trust me, it was worth it :~)

Have a story, pictures, mix, original tracks, release info, or any scoops you’d like on the site?
E-mail Me and we’ll talk!
