Not sure what made them decide to shun their target subscribers and play it safe…

I haven’t had a chance to scoot around Soundcloud for a few days… How far-reaching the new policies and scrubbers bots? It sounds like more than a few people have been speaking out against the site blocking their content…

But last I checked nobody was selling anything on Soundcloud (either mixes or originals), so wouldn’t this fall under fair use? It seems a lot of the comments on the linked article are from people that have never been part of the DJ culture… If you’ve got a Soundcloud account, how has this affected you? Should websites like this block DJ mixes for not having permission to include a certain track in the playlist?
