Sometimes you just have to let the music do the talking. The extremely mysterious and elusive Onoff appear here on Home Audio, the Chicago label run by Angel Alanis and Steve Parker. Very little is known about Onoff other than a handful of appearances on System Recordings and Physical Gravity, but the four track ‘Brown EP’ displays a superbly crafted and diverse approach with classic sounds riding alongside modern production. It could be classified anywhere in the house spectrum, with a blend of deep, funky and tech flavours all combining. One things for sure though – it’s damn good!
